| Great season. It sucks that the team lost in the first round, but the important thing is the team lost not just one or two people were responsible for it. It was so exciting to watch you guys play this year. Please resign with the Caps next year, the team wouldn't be the same without you:) |

| I want to commend you on becoming one of the best players in the league. I truly believe that you will be in the running for league MVP soon as you have no apparent holes in your game. You are incredible with the puck and play solid defense as well and your enthusiasm and respect of the game lets all true hockey fans know how much you love the sport you play. I was disappointed by the outcome of the playoffs this year but am looking forward to next year already. A hot goalie can stop anyone at any time and I think Montreal was underrated coming into the playoffs. I will be "Rockin' the Red" with you guys next year as I have been a Capitals fan for 35 years. You guys have all the talent you need to get to the top. Make sure that next year you go into the playoffs hungry. Make every game a playoff game in your mind down the stretch as you need momentum going in to the playoffs and ask the GM not to tinker with the roster so much as I believe that plugging so many new faces into the line up at trade deadline may have been the problem as your playoff lines were never truly set and that really throws off the flow of your game.
Anyways, I hope you guys do not lose heart and just continue to build on your bright future. Good luck in all things you do and have a great summer. I believe that if you stay a Capital that you have the potentil to become the greatest Hockey Players ever as you remind me of Peter Forsberg, Super Mario and Wayne Gretzky with your patience and vision on the ice. If you and Ovie stay together for a long time maybe Washington can get to the Edmonton level franchise with 3 or 4 Stanley Cups. Thanks for reading and I will see you next year in DC!! |

| I can't wait to see you play next season. It was too bad you guys didn't advance further, but you should be proud of what you did throughout the season. I wear my Backstrom jersey proudly and love to watch you play. Skol! |
